Lily

I was looking to adopt a dog and saw a picture of Lily on Instagram and realized she was in Thailand (I'm in Canada) I messaged the clinic asking about her! They replied very quickly, they were sooo sweet and sent me more pictures and videos. They told me that she had been surrendered by someone who owned a Korean BBQ restaurant and they were calling her "hot pot" until she found a home.

I thought she had the sweetest eyes and was so beautiful. I knew I could give her a second chance at life. 

Lily took a boat from Koh Toh Island to Bangkok, a flight from Bangkok to Tokyo, and then to Vancouver where we picked her up to begin her new life with me.

I know she was not treated well, and the longer I have her the more evident that is. However, she is becoming braver every day and absolutely loves other dogs and people once she trusts them. 

Lily is the most loving, emotionally intelligent, hilarious dog I have ever known. I am so proud of her.
